Description
Wastewater treatment plants receiving high-strength organic trade effluent often struggle with process instability, floating sludge, and increased chemical and energy demands. BioGo, an advanced coagulant/flocculant made by VTA Austria, has been developed to counteract these challenges by stabilizing plant operations, improving carbon and nitrogen removal, and increasing sludge dewatering efficiency.
BioGo is a unique blend of regenerative bio-energetic alkaline compounds and ionically modified microorganisms, designed to enhance purification capacity. Its highly amorphous, polymerized structure optimizes precipitation and flocculation, combating floating sludge and reducing fat content in wastewater. Plants using BioGo experience higher COD and nitrogen degradation, improved effluent clarity, and increased process reliability, even under shock load conditions.
This presentation will showcase real-world applications of BioGo in plants handling organic-rich trade effluent, highlighting operational benefits such as reduced sludge production, improved dewatering, and enhanced chemical efficiency. By integrating BioGo into treatment processes, operators can achieve superior performance, regulatory compliance, and cost-effective wastewater management.
