Description

The project aim was to monitor GHG emissions from the outlet of the deodorizing facility in the cryogenic vacuum drying section at a waste water treatment plant in Shanghai. The focus was on measuring CO2, N20 and CH4 concentrations and their distribution patters, to identify major emission stages for targeted emission reduction strategies. The project ran from 5th December 2024 to 10th January 2025, where gas concentrations were continuously monitored prior and after scheduled shutdowns, in order to to analyse production changes and their impact on emissions.
