Description

Many drivers are pushing for more water reuse in a sustainable way. For that reason compact, robust and low energy water reuse technologies that deliver the right quality and quantity of purified water are essential. The innovative IPC® MBR technology enables low-capex expansion of existing installations, robust peak flow management and lower energy consumption. To elaborate that, Blue Foot membranes has developed a standardized containerized “Blue Foot Box M1000” that is a game changer for OEM’s and end-users to rapidly deploy MBR and water reuse schemes on site. The Blue Foot Box M1000 has a multitude of applications: Greenfield or retrofit MBR’s in both municipal and industrial wastewater treatment plants. It can be used to upgrade existing wastewater plant in capacity or quality. Since the IPC® membrane modules are a true UF membrane, they offer the ideal water quality for further treatment. Performance data from municipal installations shows very robust operation at high operational fluxes (>30 LMH). The IPC® MBR technology has a very attractive value proposition considering the low energy consumption and low footprint. This enables industry and municipalities to comply with discharge regulations and where needed to reuse a significant amount of their water at an affordable cost.
