In the Netherlands a number of waste water treatment plants are to be extended to meet very low nitrogen and phosphorus concentrations. Dutch waterboard Limburg developed a modular concept according to the Verdygo principles of standardized design: highly innovative, modular, above ground, flexible, sustainable and circular. The first filter plant according to this principle is going to be built. The design basis is highlighted and visualized.
