Presenter Information

Please find below useful information for presenters at this year's EWWM Conference.

For large files we recommend sending via WeTransfer.

  • All presenters are encouraged to provide a technical paper. Please follow these GUIDELINES noting that references cited must use the Harvard Referencing System. All papers will be circulated to attendees and uploaded to the Aqua Enviro online database of past proceedings, which has become a great, free resource for many environmental professionals over the years. 
  • Each speaker will have a 25-minute time slot - please allow 20 minutes for your presentation and 5 minutes for Q&A and speaker changeover. 
  • Please use widescreen (16:9) format in PowerPoint.   
  • If you would like to add the conference logo to your presentation please download from the 'Conference Logo' section below.
  • Please note, we have moved away from traditional speaker introduction forms.  You will now be introduced by the session Chair (name, job title and organisation), after which you may expand upon your role/experience if you wish.
  • Each speaker will have a 12-minute time slot - please ensure you do not go over this time allocation.
  • Please use widescreen (16:9) format in PowerPoint.
  • If you would like to add the conference logo to your presentation please download from the 'Conference Logo' section below.

  • Display boards will be 2metres high x 1metre width so we suggest you produce your poster at A0 Portrait size (width 84.1cm x 118.9cm). The poster must include the title, authors and author affiliations. 
  • If you would like to add the conference logo to your poster please download from the 'Conference Logo' section below.
  • Please bring your printed poster with you to the registration desk on arrival at Telford International Centre.
  • Please email a PDF copy of your poster by the11th June. This will be uploaded to the event app and included in the conference proceedings.

Please select the conference logo you would like to use - then right click and save the image.  

Registration

  • Please be reminded that all speakers/presenters are required to register to attend the conference.  You can register online HERE.
  • If you are planning to attend/present virtually please let Sarah know as soon as possible.

Hotels 

  • You can find details of hotels close to the Telford International Centre HERE.
  • There is another large event on at the venue at the same time as the EWWM so hotels in the area will be very busy - we advise you to book your accommodation as soon as possible.  

Social Media 

We would love you to share your involvement at this year's EWWM Conference to help spread the word and encourage others to join. 

We will shortly be sending you graphics that you can use on social media and your email signature. If you would like a specific, more personalised graphic creating, please email sarah.brown@aquaenviro.co.uk
