Site Visit to Severn Trent's Net Zero Hub - Monday 15th June
This year's site visit is to Severn Trent's Net Zero Hub at Strongford - the world's first net zero wastewater treatment plant.
Delegates will get a first-hand look at the treatments being deployed to transform wastewater treatment and actively monitor and reduce emissions, including:
- Site-wide process emissions monitoring
- Cover and Treat technology
- Advanced wastewater sensors for Digital Twin
- More ....
This visit offers an opportunity to see how net-zero ambition is being turned into practical, scalable solutions - and why Strongford site is becoming a blue print for future wastewater operations.
Site Visit Itinerary
Transport is provided from Telford International Centre. Due to limited capacity on site there will be two groups, when booking please select your preferred option based on the departure time.

The site visit is only available to conference delegates, pre-booking is required as numbers are limited.
All attendees will be required to provide their own PPE (safety helmet, gloves, hi-vis and safety footwear).
The site tour includes steps and uneven ground and access may be limited for some attendees. If you have any questions or require additional information please contact us in advance.
The cost is £75 (+VAT) - this includes return transport from Telford International Centre. Lunch is not provided so please ensure you have eaten before you arrive.
